who is this guy?
Remember in grade school when we all had to build a shoebox diorama? Most opted for construction paper, markers, and some action figures. Not me.
Instead of opting for the shoebox, I built a full-scale landscape on wooden boards. I ran red holiday lights underneath it for village campfires and covered it with artificial mountains, grass, and trees I bought at the local hobby store. Yes, I pulled an all-nighter in the first grade to make sure this was done right. Six-year-old me got an A on the project by going above and beyond what was expected. Today, I keep this same energy in all of my creative endeavors.
Whether in Chicago, Los Angeles, or back home in Detroit, I’ve spent my career focusing on one goal: bringing inspiring ideas to life.
Those ideas have taken shape in many different ways (as you will see below). But at the core of everything is a passion for messaging and story. Whether it be through directing a fashion documentary, crafting brand messaging for startups’ or activating experiential campaigns at NBA All-Star Weekend, Coachella, TwitchCon, and the Super Bowl, I’m always looking for ways to connect authentically with an audience.

STOCKX, CREATIVE DIRECTOR
January 2023 - Present
Oversee the entirety of StockX’s marketing output and brand presence, ensuring our design, voice, visuals are pushing and elevating the brand across every channel.
Led and managed the StockX Creative Team (15-20 team members + freelancers) in developing and delivering top-quality creative for all aspects of StockX marketing – Photography, Video, Design, and Messaging — supporting creative needs for all external and internal needs. Also, oversee the team’s budget and work with finance leadership to keep creative efficient, and impactful.
Led the development of the “This is Love” brand campaign across broadcast TV, connected streaming, and owned StockX social channels.
Helped lead the re-launch of StockX YouTube channel, developing a new content strategy and producing consistent content/series within each of our strategic buckets - help, hub, and hero content.

Lead the StockX Creative Team in developing and delivering top-quality creative marketing assets for all StockX marketing campaigns, including brand photography, performance video, banners, social content, and CRM messaging.
Keeper of the StockX Brand Voice for all creative copy and high-level messaging, overseeing a team of writers/content managers and approving all external messaging on behalf of the brand.
Serve as the Editor In Chief of the StockX Editorial team, leading the overall editorial strategy in collaboration with integrated marketing and merchandising efforts.
Oversee and lead the production of creative for tentpole StockX campaigns, including Black Friday Weekend, Back to School Shopping, NBA All-Star Weekend, as well as creative identity for brand partnerships such as Coachella, Malbon Golf, and a roster of cultural ambassadors.

January 2020 - June 2022
Following former NBA player Nate Robinson’s boxing knockout in November of 2020, I pitched, wrote, and directed a brand partnership commercial spinning the player’s loss into a relatable brand story entitled “Find Your Win”. Production was done in under three weeks, all amidst COVID, and garnered over 8.9 million impressions, with press coverage by UPROXX, Footwear News, and Bossip.
Developed and refined the brand’s messaging and tone of voice through all customer touchpoints, including checkout flow, onboarding, email marketing, social media, cultural partnerships, and all additional marketing assets.
Guided the team through a brand re-design in April of 2021, which included new logo development, updated tone of voice, and new creative production for the ensuing rollout.
Co-creator of our exclusive marketplace release method DropX, allowing creatives and brands to shock-drop products directly onto StockX. Collaborations include Megan Thee Stallion x Revlon, Lewis Hamilton, Malbon Golf, and Adidas.

One of the early team members at the startup, helping co-founders to establish brand messaging for StockX during initial hyper-growth. Served as the lead writer for all external customer touch points, crafting FAQs, transactional emails for buyers and sellers, product descriptions, and social media posts. At one point was responsible for over 4 million words across the StockX marketplace.
Director, producer, and writer for all early StockX YouTube content getting our channel to over 120,000 subscribers with the video team. Work included over 50+ episodes of MKT Watch, History of Heat, and Personal Space, as well as working as the scriptwriter for the first three StockX national broadcast commercials.
Directed our first original Webby-Nominated, mini-documentary on LA fashion designer Reese Cooper, which exclusively premiered on HighSnobiety.
